This was the 3rd time I called Steve for different HVAC repairs. He always shows up within the time window he gives, he always fixes the problem and he never pads the bill with unnecessary parts or services. Luckily he had one of the right type of capacitors my AC unit needed right on his truck. He is always well prepared and doesn't need to charge extra for trips to the supply house or other hardware places. Thanks Steve! My AC decided to stop working on one of the hottest days in July and Steve made it a priority to come over and get it fixed. I had Fair Heating & Cooling install my furnace, AC and hot water heater at my previous address and I would not hesitate to use him at my current address. Steve was amazing! My AC stopped working and it was the 90 degrees in my house. He managed to fit me into the schedule and problem solved. Turned out my AC was fine and it was a wiring issue. He was upfront and told me I needed to get an electrician to check the power line and that was not something he was licensed to do. I appreciated that he didn’t tell me that it was typical for AC units to fail during high heat days and try to sell me a new AC unit like another company I called.
